La Llosa de Camatxo
This route is moderately difficult and has a distance of 5.96 kilometres. The starting point of the route is the cemetery of La Llosa de Camatxo, from where the path towards Font de La Parra should be taken. Continue along CV 53 towards the end of the ravine known as Barranc de La Llosa so as to then continue along the path that leads to the castle called Castell d’Aixa (made up of the remains of the old castle located in the mountain range known locally as Serra del Castellet d'Aixa, in the highest part of Beniquesi, a place located in the municipality of Alcalalí, 600 metres above sea level).
The castle is in ruins and only some remains of the foundations and walls can be seen. The rectangular tower, 12 by 4 metres, has three small surface wells and a fountain.
