Eiximenis, segle XV –
This is how, upon his arrival in the Kingdom of Valencia, Francesc Eiximenis described the lands and the landscape which he could see around him and which ended up being his home. The Atlas begins with this beautiful description from the 15th century, because if there is one thing that characterises the region known as La Marina Alta, it is precisely this agricultural landscape which has marked the rhythms and the lives of its people. An Atlas of the cultural landscape of the region and its heritage, allowing the reader to travel through La Marina Alta without haste, in a leisurely and sustainable way. With articles on flora, fauna, demography, etc., and with suggestions for routes to take so as to learn about the history of all the towns and villages in La Marina Alta.
The book (written in Valencian) will be presented and distributed soon. Please write to our email macma@macma.org if you are interested in purchasing a copy.
