In the village of Gata de Gorgos one can find many sequers (or dryers) from the 19th century, in places such as Serrillar, Tossal del Moro and Font de La Mata. Along the Assagador del Serrillar there are many examples of sequers for virgin raisins, all of them facing south and made of limestone, as well as dryers for scalded raisins, used for drying the grapes after being scalded in the fornet.
One can find sequers of both types for drying raisins, some more deteriorated than others but all of them with a lot of history behind them.
