El Tossalet is a botanical park that is also the traditional calvary. A botanical garden is a piece of land designed to exhibit plant species or variants, conserve plants, protect threatened or endangered species and transmit natural heritage; it also has the educational function of raising awareness and is adapted to the general public.
It offers the chance to observe the autochthonous flora of La Vall del Pop by way of a route which is always surrounded by a dense pine forest and which passes by a series of constructions of great cultural value, such as the lime kiln or the wells. One can also enjoy spending some time at a viewpoint that offers panoramas of the mountain range known as Serra del Castell de La Solana and the River Xaló.
Among the species that can be seen, there are cypresses, rosemary, false yellowhead, chicory, thyme, gorse, elm leaf blackberry, asparagus plants and camomiles, to name a few.
