This vestige of Arabic origin consists of a rectangular construction supported by arched pillars. The water comes from the fountain of the washing place next to it, which was very useful when there was no running water in the village and it had to be carried in pitchers. As well as a place to wash clothes, it was also a watering place for animals. After passing through the trough, the water was used to water the allotments around the fountain.
Its restoration began in the 1990s. Technological progress has rendered it unessential, but there are still people who use it because they say it leaves their clothes cleaner. As well as being a charming and well-preserved place, it has unbeatable views of the village.
