The washing place known as La Font de Dalt d’Orba is located next to the Trullent ravine. It was built in 1893 on the initiative of the then mayor, Bautista Pastor Sirera. However, it wasn't until 1925 when mayor José Mengual Garcés decided to cover the construction in order to prevent the impacts of harsh weather conditions.
The fountain has three spouts, by way of which the water is channeled from the basin to the washing place, located in the middle of the structure and with about twenty washing stations.
The roof has been changed several times, the last restoration having been done in 2022. It now consists of a structure formed by six brick pillars supporting a gabled roof with wooden beams and eaves on the sides, under the roof tiles. The fountain has also been restored. It now has a white wall with a tiled drawing showing the name, original date of construction and the date of restoration, along with some people washing clothes. It also has lighting now and the floor has new tiles.
