Teulada Moraira
The route starts in the avenue called Avinguda del Mediterrani and goes along the Camí de Sant Miquel road until Creueta de l'Ave Maria (a rough stone cross that has a ceramic inscription). This point marks where, according to tradition, Saint Vicent Ferrer stopped and blessed the area, thus preventing the arrival of the plague and protecting the village from being ravaged by Berber pirates.
Take the path on the right that leads to the Font de l'Horta spring, a two-spout fountain with a small basin that serves as a drinking trough. About 5 metres away you can see the spring that feeds this fountain. From this point, continue along Camí del Boticari, which starts behind the spring. When you reach the road known as Camí del Pouet del Moro, turn right and pass in front of this well that dates back to medieval times. Continue walking until you reach the road that takes you to the farmhouse shared by Benissa and Teulada: Benimarco. Further on, you arrive at the square where the hermitage of Benimarco, also called Sant Jaume, is located. From the viewpoint of this hermitage you can admire a splendid panoramic view of the sea.
