The route starts at the beginning of the path of the ravine known as Barranc dels Pouets, which is at the end of the street called Carrer del Cid and next to the hermitage of Sant Blai.
Continue along a wide track that takes you to a patch of almond trees, where it becomes a path that continues to climb. As you advance, the path makes a small descent and on your left you can see the beginning of Enric's Path and the words “Cor de l'Enric” (Enric's heart) cut into a rock as a tribute to the person who founded the Pedreguer Excursionist Centre and was its president. Continue along the route, passing next to the path marked as Cementeri dels Burros, until you reach a large pine tree where you find the intersection with variant II and where you have to continue straight on. From this point, the ascent of the path is gentler and makes a great turn so as to overcome the Pouets ravine. Afterwards, there is a small ascent that brings you to a plain where you can see a new link with Enric's Path that coincides with this variant I. Follow the path until you reach the area of a small house that is being rebuilt and then turn right. Continue along the forest track of the ravine known as Barranc de les Fonts, turning left. After about 400 metres there is a variant II detour to the right and, after roughly 200 metres, this variant coincides with variant I, which splits once more so that variant II goes to the right again. Go downwards along the track until you reach a plain with a house on the left, which has been completely restored and is known locally as Hotel Plata. Continue straight through a passage where there is the house and a considerably high terraced field. If you leave the track to the right after passing the wall, you can see an old threshing floor which was used by the nearby houses. From this point, a little further on, you reach the junction with the main trail and the end of variant I.
