La Vall de Gallinera
This route starts in Alpatró. Go down the street called Carrer Puríssima, walking through the village in a southerly direction. After turning right on Carrer Sant Marc, you can see the path's first marker and a vertical post. From here, head towards the ravine of La Vall de Gallinera.
Follow the path that takes you along the left bank of the ravine and, once you leave the ravine, the trail leads you to the La Garriga recreational area, owned by Alicante's provincial government. Carry on along the path that runs parallel to the ravine and, when you reach a fork in the path, continue along the concrete path that ascends and soon after becomes a dirt track. After following this path that runs between terraces of olive and almond trees, you arrive at the village of La Carroja. Go through the village and out onto the road that unites the valley. At this point there is a fountain with a washing place. Continue along the asphalt road until, just after the last house, there is a path that takes you down to the municipal swimming pool. From here, following the markers for the route, shortly thereafter you get to the first house in the village of Benissivà, where you have to get off the road in order to take a path, leaving the La Font restaurant behind you on your right. Enter the centre of Benissivà and turn right until you reach the road, just in front of the Ta Casa restaurant.
From here, take the road that leads you to Benitaia. Immediately, take a narrow road that ascends to your left and, later, take a dirt road that leads you to the village of Benialí, which is the end point of the route.
