This is a linear route which is moderately difficult and is 2.52 kilometres long. It starts in the square known as Plaça de Baldomero Vega and passes through the Ribàs botanical park to get to the village fountain and washing place. Afterwards, it crosses the Xaló River along the path known as Camí de Les Solanes and, at a certain point, it is necessary to take the path on the right from where one begins the climb towards the Cavall Verd cliffs. Further on, the route arrives at the border between La Vall de Laguar and Benigembla.
Throughout the route there are impressive views. When the trail arrives at El Penyó, the altitude is 720 metres above sea level and from there it is possible to see the mountain pass called Coll de Rates, which is the road that connects the valleys known as La Vall de Guadalest and La Vall de Pop, via Tàrbena. It is also possible to observe the Montgó massif in the background, as well as the mountain ranges of Seguili and Segària.
The path was used by the Morisco population to reach Cavall Verd, rebelling against the monarchy when the expulsion of all the Moorish people from the Kingdom of Valencia was decreed, and this rock was witness to a great tragedy.
