The Chapel of La Mare de Déu Negreta is located in the Cometa area of Senija. According to tradition, the origin of this devotion is related to the reliquary of La Mare de Déu d'Àfrica. The construction of this chapel dates back to 1965.
From the exterior, it is a simple rectangular building that combines classical lines with modern and functional elements. It has a sort of skylight in the ceiling and three steps in front of the entrance. There are two small windows on the two side walls.
The entrance door to the chapel occupies a large part of the façade, which ends with a pointed arch. Next to it, there are two wall lamps attached and a sign with the name of the chapel. The cornice is topped by a belfry with three openings and a single bell in the larger central one.
The interior is also simple, whitewashed, and functional, with a ceramic tile floor and a smooth ceiling. The walls are adorned with various religious images. On both sides of the altar, there is an entrance to the sacristy and a small annexed room. On a bracket on the wall of the apse, in a golden neo-Gothic reliquary, the image of La Mare de Déu Negreta is venerated.
