La Vall de Gallinera
This circular route is 5.71 km long.
The spring known as Font del Llimener is the best known and most important spring on the sunny side of La Vall de Gallinera. The other springs in the area have a very irregular and sporadic flow.
The walk starts by leaving Alpatró and passing in front of the Moltó oil mill. Go down the ramps that lead to the La Carroja path, which goes along the River Gallinera. Along this section of the route you can see various threshing floors where wheat used to be winnowed.
Walk along the path that climbs through dry stone terraces, until you reach the top. Here you can see the spring that flows from a small cave.
Continue moving up the path until you reach a metal fence: to the left you go towards the remains of the Molinet and to the right you link up with the La Llacuna and L'Orxa track.
If you want to do a longer route, go left along the track and then go down to Llombai or turn right to go down another path towards Benissili.
