Sanet i els Negrals
This mill is located within the municipality of Els Negrals, in the area of Les Hortes del Molí, next to a magnificent magnolia tree which has been described as the largest in the province of Alicante and belonged to the Merita family, owners of La Senyoria. Within the same estate one can find an elm tree which is even older than the magnolia.
It receives water from the Bolata weir as well as from the springs of Les Hortes de Sanet and La Roda, the latter of which is described as having its source below the mill itself. Its outlet leads to an irrigation channel that takes the water to the mill called Molí Cremat, also known as Molí del Sastre or Molí de Truque. It had a tremendous basin with an outlet with two openings (one measuring 30 by 60 centimetres and the other 30 by 40 centimetres), two wheels with two cavities 180 centimetres high, 170 centimetres wide and three metres long, as well as two millstones.
Its construction dates from between the 16th and 17th centuries, but it stopped functioning around 1915.
