Duanes de La Mar has a wide range of shops concentrated in the avenue known as Avinguda de Jaume I and the street called Carrer del Crist de La Mar. This town is home to a fishing port which includes a marina and a market where traditional fish auctions take place from Monday to Friday, starting at 5pm.

From 6pm onwards, it is also possible to purchase fresh fish and seafood from the bay at the sales point known as La Confraria de Pescadors, within this same market hall. Its great seafaring tradition means that it is full of restaurants and bars serving traditional seafood tapas.
