The cross known as La Creu de Tosca is located in Gata de Gorgos, on the main road, right at the crossing towards the road of Xàbia.
It was the only cross that delimited the borders of the town, and it was destroyed during the Moorish dominion. In 1944, it was agreed to have a new pumice stone cross built. The person in charge was Mr Vicente Bisquert Riera and it was inaugurated on the 3rd of May, 1944, the festivity of the Holy Cross.
