Xaló has, over time, hosted several prehistoric cultures that have left their mark in various geographical points of the municipality that today are of interest to tourists, such as the cave known as Cova de Les Meravelles. This cavern is made up of stalactites and stalagmites, and inside it various deposits with materials from different eras have been found, dating from the Neolithic period up until the Middle Ages.
