El Clot de L'Alberca is located in a place where the views are limited by the surrounding vegetation, among which are reedbeds, brambles, wild olive trees, common smilax and pomegranate trees. All this in an agricultural environment full of citrus fields. It is a spring of natural water that pours out when there are heavy rains, which indicates that the aquifers are full.
According to the study carried out using the Digital Terrain Model (“Model Digital de Terreny”), the depth of the pit would be around 4.5 metres, but it is also said that it could reach down to 12 metres underground. It has a diameter of 25 metres. This pit is the beginning of the Alberca ravine, which joins the ravines of La Cova, Bo, La Parra and El Moro, crosses Ondara and connects with the ravine of La Fusta or El Marx, until it flows in between the point of Els Molins and the point of L’Estanyó, between the coastal municipalities of Els Poblets and Dénia.
