Just like the neighbouring coves, Cala La Manzanera has transparent waters and is full of abundant seagrass (posidonia) meadows, making it ideal for snorkelling or fishing. This paradisiacal corner is approximately 230 metres long and is mainly composed of gravel and pebbles, although there are also sandy areas.
Typically, it is frequented by residents of the residential complex, which ensures that the level of occupancy is not very high, allowing for a pleasant swim without the typical crowds of large beaches during the summer season. The calm waters are perfect for snorkelling and diving.
For those who prefer to relax by sunbathing and enjoying the surrounding view, it should be noted that the peculiar buildings designed by architect Ricardo Bofill can be found there. These buildings, known as La Muralla Roja, were a reference in architectural design during the 1970s. (1)
