El Poble Nou de Benitatxell
At the foot of the massif of Puig de La Llorença, amidst cliffs and impressive geological formations, lies this secluded gravel cove with transparent waters.
The exceptional location and the colour of the water create a paradise-like landscape and give it a unique charm. The quality of the water, the surroundings, and the services offered have been endorsed by the Blue Flag certification and the special mention for lifeguard services by the Adeac Foundation (2014). In addition to being attractive for swimming, nearby there are magnificent geological formations such as the Moraig Fault and the Cova dels Arcs, a beautiful underwater cave that serves as an outlet to the sea for an underground river. A treasure for diving enthusiasts.
The northern part of Moraig Cove is considered a nudist beach. (1)
