This is a linear route with a medium difficulty level that has an estimated duration of 90 minutes. The route is a little difficult at the beginning due to the pronounced slope, which is why it is rated with this level of difficulty. The starting point of the trail is located at kilometre 9.6 of the CV-735 road, where there is a paved walkway situated next to an occupational centre. At the end of the path, after about 300 metres, there is another path on the right that winds up a steep slope to Alt de Benimaquia, where there was an Iberian settlement during the 7th century BC.
From this point onwards, the path practically does not have any slopes and goes around the Iberian settlement on the left-hand side until Casa del Guarda, a small house with a table and benches situated at a distance of about two kilometres from the start of the route. Take the path on the left which leads through a pine forest, passing through different marked crossings without straying from the main path. Finally, the trail leads to the mountain pass known as Coll de Pous, which is where the route ends.
