The cove known as Cala dels Testos is one of the most secluded corners of the Costa Blanca shoreline, accessible only through Barranc de L'Infern (Hell's Ravine) via an adventurous trail with sections where it is necessary to descend using ropes; or by sea, covering a distance of about 400 metres from the Moraig beach. If the sea option is chosen, especially with a kayak, one can enjoy the strong character of the coastline.

The cove faces south and is covered with pebbles. The seabed is in excellent condition, alternating between rocky areas covered with brown algae, white sandy stretches, and notable areas of dense posidonia (seagrass) meadows. This plant is the largest oxygen generator in our environment, producing 10 times more oxygen than the equivalent surface of a terrestrial forest.

The route approaches the wall of the cove and then separates from it, permitting the observation of the protruding rocks on the seabed, providing shelter to species like the octopus. Schools of white seabream patrol incessantly among the hard bottoms, while over the posidonia meadows, schools of dreamfish shine with their yellow reflections.

The seabed is dotted with colorful sea stars and sea urchins, a contrast to other areas of the coastline of La  Marina Alta, where they have almost disappeared. Circle around, looking for the opposite wall from where the route started, appreciating the countless points of interest that make the visit to this privileged corner of the pure Mediterranean a true delight.
