This route permits you to get to know the windmills that are located in the middle of the valley formed by La Sella and the mountain of Pedreguer, which were used to grind grains so as to obtain flour.
The route starts in the square known as Plaça de la Glorieta, in Pedreguer. From here, go along the street called Carrer del Col·legi and cross the road towards Carrer dels Furs, until you reach the well which is known as Pou de la Murta. When you get to Carrer Maulets, continue along the path that runs next to the cemetery. Cross the Barranc del Marx ravine and ascend towards the windmills. Pay a visit to the mills and then take the path that leads east. On the right-hand side you come across the remains of an old house with various rooms, a corral, a cistern or scalding oven that is a reminder of the basic crop of the 19th century: the vineyard for the production of raisins. Go down the path until you reach the avenue called Avinguda Joan Carles I, and from here cross the motorway and the N-332 road by way of two bridges. Then, turn to the right to take the Collado de la Sella path, where the mountain ascent begins. At a certain point, the paved section of the road ends and, so as to climb Micalet de la Sella, you have to continue along the path on your left. To descend, return the same way that you climbed up, until you reach the low part between the two peaks and then descend along the slope that faces the sea. When you get to the La Sella residential area, continue along Avinguda del Baix Segura, until you reach the street called Carrer de la Plana Alta and continue towards Avinguda d'Alacant, until the Collado area. Return to the southern face of La Sella again and look for the old Collado path, which takes you to Avinguda Joan Carles I.
