Livestock Proximity
Livestock farming has played a significant role in shaping the maritime landscape for centuries, albeit frequently in an exploitative manner leading to its near disappearance today. This is not only due to its impact on the physical landscape, but also the cultural aspect it embodies, its ancestral roots, and the production of superior quality products. This, in addition to the significant application in fighting fires through vegetation management in strategic forest regions (auxiliary strips, field edges, village areas...). The Valleys of Marina preserve a tradition of livestock products that local businesses already recognize and offer in their menus. However, further promotion is necessary to strengthen and coordinate this opportunity, connecting it with responsible tourism that supports both the landscape and the local economies. These proposals aim to achieve that goal.
