Agricultural Proximity
The dominant feature of the Valls de la Marina is its terrain. The region comprises a blend of hamlets, farmland, peaks, rocks, gorges, and woodlands. Consequently, agricultural land forms one of its major components. These lands contribute not only to the landscape, but also to the economy by generating work, producing high-quality goods and maintaining heritage. Above all, the region is treasured for its agricultural culture and the people who cultivate its land. Cultivated land plays a vital and strategic role as a barrier against pests, fires, and in the generation of landscape mosaics, as well as in promoting deseasonalized tourism. Hence, it is of paramount importance in our valleys' present plan. To expand, modify, or include proposals already underway, discussing the matter with the territory would be necessary.
